Crow Royale

This whimsical crow begins as a handbuilt ceramic sculpture. After the original piece is glazed, I create a two-part silicone mold from the ceramic form. The resulting negative mold allows me to hand-pour concrete, creating a durable cast of the original sculpture.

Once cured, the concrete crow is hand-painted with acrylic paints, including its tiny gold hat. A second concrete pour creates a custom frame around the crow, giving the piece a finished, dimensional presentation. A hanging hook is attached to the back so it is ready to display on the wall.

Each piece combines handbuilt ceramic sculpture, mold-making, concrete casting, and hand-painted detail.
